Hi! My name is Nancy Kate! I live and practice Peace of Mind Wedding Planning in Knoxville, TN and surrounding areas. I moved to Knoxville over twenty years ago when I started college. I received a Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts from The University of Tennessee, as well as, a Master's degree in Art Education. For the past few years, I have been teaching art in the school system. In 2015, I started a new chapter in my life & began to pursue another dream: to start a family & put my wedding planning skills in business! I have been incredibly blessed with my decision. I have a wonderful husband, three adorable daughters, & two tuxedo cats. Life is pretty fabulous when you have a loving, supporting family & a job you are happily dedicated to & enjoy doing everyday!

I will make the most out of any budget; minimize the time, angst & anxiety that comes along with choosing the big & small details of the event; & ensure a stress-free wedding day by creating a calm & collected atmosphere. My artistic background will bring visual appeal to your wedding. I will take your ideas to the drawing board and help you design a wedding style that represents you. My past experience in the classroom has greatly impacted my ability & skill-set in planning, organization, and my performance under pressure. Besides my background, wedding experience, & love for planning, I also bring a fresh inside & outside perspective. I married my husband seven years ago & have been in your shoes.
